About me

Literature has always held a great place in my heart. However, when I wanted to read the book I could never find, I decided to write it myself. My inspiration is derived from the many stories told by senior members of my family, who are a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. I could listen to them for hours!

Through my life I’ve had the opportunity to travel to many places in the world and meet many wonderful people. Having grown up in Canada’s most southern city, Windsor, I ran a small landscape business for almost thirty years. Following that, I went overseas to Ukraine where I’ve had the pleasure of teaching English since 2009.

I enjoy travelling, sailing, flying and reading. I’ve also taken up the violin and am studying foreign languages. I’m the proud father of four wonderful children and am currently blessed with nine grandchilren – and counting.

“Aydy’s Fiddle” is my first novel, and I’m well along on the next one – “Aydy’s Fiddle – Fellowship of the Master.”
